Inspired by our neighbors who have beautiful rock gardens, Charlie and I decided to build our own on the north east corner of our house. With help of my mother in-law, who is an expert gardener, we bought a variety of flowers that fit well in Colorado’s dry climate.
They included:
- Ice Plant (short plant with small pink flower)
- Blue queen sage
- Gay feather
- Arizona Sun Indian Blanket,
- Sedum / Autumn Joy
- Coneflowers in yellow and red
- English Lavender
- Blue Delphinium
- Silver sage
- Pink Lupine
- Red Yarrow
- White Digitalis
- And finally Boxwood, a type of evergreen.
