My Aerogarden

Five weeks ago I met Michael Bissonnette at a social event organized by International Business Circle (IBC). Michael is the CEO of a local company called AeroGrow International, which designs and manufactures a smart “plug’n grow” bio-dome indoor garden kit. In English, its a clever machine that lets you grow plants in indoors without needing any dirt.
I was so impressed with the technology that at the end of the event I bought one and took it home. When I got home, set the garden up, planned by started herb seed kit, added water and nutrients and turned on the light.
A week later, some of seads strated sprouting. Here is a picture of the Italian Basil:

By the 4th week, all the seeds had sprouted and were growing happily:

I’m not onto the fifth week. Over the last week, all the plants have grown a lot, especially the Italian basil. I had to raise the lamp up a few inches to give it more room to grow:

At this rate, I’m looking to have fresh herbs in the next couple of weeks.
I really like my AeroGarden and highly recommend it ![]()
