Memorial Day Weekend Getaway - Santa Fe

This past memorial day weekend, Charlie and I took a short trip to one of our favorite places in the US - Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is about 5 hours by car from Denver. Situated at 7000 feet in the southern Rocky Mountains Santa Fe is known for it’s art, culture and food.. It has nearly 300 art galleries and some of best restaurants in the US. You can find a wide range of cuisines, including of course my favorite, southwestern cuisine.

hey just came across this post in a google search, I am planning on visiting Santa Fe this upcoming weekend (memorial day 2008) and was looking for some lodging suggestions and a place to see some live music….any pointers?
