My cat Oba
Jul 31st, 2005 by Yue
I am named after another Birman, just like Hershey was named after Charlie’s mom’s Birman. Although Hershey and I were born only a few minutes apart we don’t look at all alike. I am mostly white, with a very light gray face and tail while my brother has a very dark face and tail and a light brown body. Yue always tells me I come from Scandinavia.
Unlike Hershey, who loves getting attention from everyone, I am more selective with whom I hang out with. I love to be in the same room with Yue and Charlie, always within 4 feet of them. At the same time, I also keep an eye on Hershey (Hershey is known for disappearing by hiding somewhere in the house). I love Hershey even though he gets more attention, but that’s because he was born that way. He is a love bug.
I am passionate about my bowl of hard kibble and my favorite snack kitty caviar, dry salmon skin. Hershey and I have an unwritten agreement that its my job to make sure the bowls are filled with fresh water and food every morning before Yue and Charlie leave for work. My favorite spot is on the top of refrigerator, so I can overlook what’s going on in the kitchen and dinning room.
